Open Communication and Application Firmware
Built on the Bluetooth and Wirepas wireless mesh network open standards, Energio incorporates 0-10v, DALI, DMX and Phase dimming into a single platform. You can now group fixtures that are controlled and dimmed using different technologies and protocols wirelessly.
Energio, can also easily interface with mechanical protocols such as BACnet, ModBus and KNX.
Luminaire Level Lighting Control (LLLC)
In the future we will have the ability to control each individual lighting fixture in a facility, be able to group them multiple ways and get diagnostic feedback from each fixture. Except this isn't the future, it is here now, with Energio Controls!
Energio will work with ANY lighting fixture OEM assisting them with the installation of factory installed control modules. In addition control modules can also be field installed. Near-future versions of Title 24 and other state energy codes will soon begin to mandate LLLC.
LLLC not only increased the efficiency of the building and adds to end user comfort and functionality, when it is achieved using INGY the secondary benefit is actually more valuable than the primary use! You have now just created the ultimate IoT back bone! With Energio now ANY system in the building can use the wireless lighting fixtures to communicate across the facility without the need of additional cables or wireless repeaters.
Hardware Freedom!
Unlike proprietary systems, with Energio you even have choices when it comes to system components and the companies that manufacture them. Energio works with multiple manufactures who make dimmer, sensors, wall stations, in-fixture nodes and even LED boards that support the open standard platforms we offer.
Don't like the look of one manufactures sensor? Simply choose another from another partner manufacturer!
Having an ecosystem of manufacturers also drives development. Ecosystem manufacturers are free to create new and unique devices to meet the needs of the market.
Open Dimming Protocols
Energio incorporates 0-10v, DALI, DMX and Phase dimming into a single platform. You can now group fixtures that are controlled and dimmed using different technologies and protocols wirelessly.
You can have fixtures using any dimming protocol in the same group and same scene without the need to a gateway!!
No Single Point of Failure
Through the use of the powerful Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 chipset and advanced Bluetooth mesh technology, the Energio system has no master device, meaning there is no single point of failure!
Each device (driver, sensor, wall switch, etc.) maintains 100% of the programming information for the entire network!
Simple field and factor level changes
Need to change from one control platform to another?
With Energio is is as simple as unplugging a chip flashed with one set of firmware and plugging in the same chip flashed with different control firmware. The same device (dimmer, sensors, wall station, etc.) can work with any of our open standard platforms.
